Student and professor to discuss operations management in China

      EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus community is invited to attend a dinner meeting this month that will include student and faculty presentations about operations management in China.
      The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in The Dulany of Davies Center.
      UW-Eau Claire senior management major Eric Becker, North Mankato, Minn., and Theresa Wells, a senior lecturer in management and marketing, will give presentations during the meeting.
      Becker completed an internship in China and studied at Jinan University in China for two semesters. Wells visited four manufacturing companies in China through a Partnerships in International Education grant from UW-Eau Claire.
      The dinner event will be sponsored by the Association for Operations Management student organization.
      The buffet dinner cost is $10 for APICS students, $20 for APICS professionals, $12 for non-APICS students and $25 for non-APICS professionals.
