Abstract
Although greater availability of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO[subscript]2) associated with global change is expected to boost productivity of many plant species, increase in plant size and density may increase competition for other resources such as light and water in plant communities. This study investigated the physiological responses of Lupinus perennis (wild lupine) to factorial treatments of decreased light availability, decreased water availability, and elevated CO[subscript]2.
