Abstract
Sixty-nine college students at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse completed the California Psychological Inventory as a pre and post-test to compare the relative change in personality traits of 33 of the Ss who participated in an eight-week jogging program, as compared to the remaining 36 Ss who received no treatment. ANCOVA revealed that 1 factor of 18, communality, was significantly lower in the experimental group at the p< .05after participation in the jogging program. The remaining 17 factors did not change significantly.
