dc.description.abstractAs the topic of psychological well-being is rarely dealt with in previous empirical studies among Chinese literature, this study was expected to bring new light on this particular domain. It was hypothesized that demographic characteristics of the Chinese elderly have an impact on their psychological well-being, and socioeconomic statuses of the Chinese elderly have an impact on their psychological well-being.en
