| dc.description.abstract | Customers continue to want superior service and quick response times. The purpose of this study was to identify what was happening in each step of the order fulfillment process, benchmark external research, collect internal data, and analyze all the data to find the root cause of the delays at Company XYZ. The main objective was to propose solutions of what needed to be done to fill customer orders in two days or less. Utilizing lean manufacturing tools, benchmarking external data, and evaluating real time order processing data, Company XYZ would have the ability to improve the order fulfillment process. | en_US |
