This paper presents some recent computer studies of a von Neumann type fluid. The particular model and the discrete dynamical equations utilized are described in detail and various results from fluid mechanics and statistical mechanics are discussed. Computer examples are presented and the model is shown to behave like a liquid as regards density, inter-particle separation, and surface wave generation.en_US
