Description
In her 2009 interview with Emma Schroeder, Glenda Denniston shares her memories about volunteering and working for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve along the shores of Lake Mendota. Denniston recalls the Kline-Bader plan, the work and leadership of the Lakeshore Preserve Committee, invasive plant species, and memories of the Frautschi family who gave the land as a gift to the University in the 1980s.
This interview was conducted for inclusion in a Master?s thesis on the Eagle Heights Community Gardens.
