This collection contains correspondence, course materials, and miscellaneous materials relating to the formation of the Rehabilitation Education Department.
Description
The origins of the Rehabilitation Education Department can be traced back to 1967 with the creation of the Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute. The Department itself was formed in 1985 with Dr. Sue Schmitt as the first chair. Shirley Stewart replaced Schmitt in 1988 as the department chairperson.
