dc.descriptionAbstract: In her December 2013 interviews with Troy Reeves, Elizabeth "Liz" Breed detailed her time as a librarian and instructor in calligraphy, both at UW-Madison, from the 1970s to 2000s. She discussed her work as a reference librarian at Memorial Library, managing the grants collection, her interest in preservation and exhibits, technological changes in the library, and working with students. Breed also described her teaching for the art department and her background and education at Columbia University. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Oral History Program.
