He discusses his decision to move to Madison and his decision to stay in Madison where he attended school and worked as Assistant Dean and Associate Dean at the College of Engineering for over thirty years. He discusses the various deans with whom he worked, the research projects in which he took part, his involvement in departmental changes and expansions, and lobbying and research funding.This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW?Madison Oral History Program.en
