Description
Phyllis Weisbard is the Women's Studies Librarian for the University of Wisconsin system. Weisbard is both an undergraduate (1964-68) and graduate (1990-91) alumna of UW-Madison. Following her undergraduate years, she received a graduate degree in Health Education from Boston University. Before receiving a graduate library degree from UW Madison, Weisbard worked at the Yale library, NYU Law Library, and Jewish Theological Seminary. After her second UW degree, Phyllis began working as the Women's Studies Librarian for the UW system. In this interview, Weisbard discusses the development of her office, her work as the WS Librarian, conferences, a trip to India, and the state library community.
