Abstract
Eleanor Mitchell Roberts recounts anecdotes about Verne Q. Powell in her interview with Robert Cole. She describes how she met Powell and describes Powell’s relationship to Albert Tipton. She also details the few times she met Powell in person. She and Cole discuss different types of flutes they have owned and connect over their memories of Powell and other acquaintances. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the Powell Flutes Oral History Project of the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management oral history collection.
