| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore how study abroad programs in China helped American students to develop their understanding of Chinese culture and inspired them to reflect on their own culture. Through multiple sets of data, including interviews, reflective journals and blog posts, researchers discovered a variety of transformative moments where disorienting dilemma became a driving force to foster deeper thinking and learning among the participants. | en |
