The New England Lamprophyre Suite comprises a series of magmatic intrusions that connects the age progressive Canadian kimberlite lineament spatially and temporally with the New England Seamounts. An analysis of trace elements from lamprophyres from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine is consistent with the notion that the lamprophyres were derived from the same OIB source as the New England seamounts.en
