Abstract
This study examined the retrospective perspectives of high school climate among
individuals attending a midsize, Midwestern university. Participants included
undergraduate students who met inclusion criteria. These participants completed an
online survey regarding their high school experiences. Overall, the study found
differences in climate between rural and urban settings. Further, there was a difference
between LGBTQIA reports of climate in comparison to heterosexual individuals.
