Exploring Interview Questions in Today’s Tech Industry

Abstract

Interviews are to be expected as job applicants move through the hiring process for most any position in the workforce. While there has been extensive research regarding the structure and general characteristics of interviews, little focus has been on the specific questions utilized by different industries and what they seek to accomplish. This paper offers a snapshot of the interview questions used by hiring personnel within in the United States tech industry and what those questions seek to elicit from candidates.
