Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand employers’ perspectives of work-based learning opportunities in the La Crosse, WI area, and their motivations for participating or their reasons for not participating. Hearing the voice of employers will aid school-coordinators in overcoming barriers and create curriculums and opportunities that add value to the learning experience of the student. The outcome of this research is to create more work-based opportunities for students in the La Crosse area and build relationships between education and business and industry.
