Description

In her three November 2011 interviews with Troy Reeves, Jill Hopke describes her undergraduate and graduate school career at UW-Madison. She primarily furnishes her memories of 9/11/2001 & her work with the Teaching Assistants? Association during the Capitol Protests of 2011. Hopke discussed the following time periods: 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s and topics: WORT (Madison Community Radio); UW-Madison Greens; UW-Madison Journalism School; UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences; September 11, 2001; Capitol Protests, 2011; Wisconsin State Capital; Governor Scott Walker; Teaching Assistants? Association (TAA); and Occupy Wall Street Movement. This interview was conducted for inclusion into UW-Madison oral history collection, specifically within the Capitol Protests 2011 project.
