| dc.description.abstract | A large part of my journey through life has involved me in both addiction and art therapy. I have gone from believing art therapy doesn't work at all to devoting myself to it as a career. There have been many times I have doubted not only art therapy but myself as well. I have learned so much throughout this journey and continue to learn more. For the last few years I have interned at rehabilitation centers conducting art therapy groups. I have learned a lot from these experiences along with my own life experiences. I dealt with addiction at an early age. I, among many others, began using drugs in the seventh grade. | en |
