| dc.description.abstract | I find nuances in architectural inconsistencies of my immediate surroundings to be endearing. The way this impacts my work is preverbal, but unquestionably significant. I trust an individual that possesses purpose when alone. What I trust even more is an individual that can also work with others for a larger purpose. Bricks are an ideal example of this. A panel of oriented strand board is composed of impractical scraps, compacted to create useful, versatile material. I am interested in the characteristics of these materials, among others, and their ability to translate into a human realm, as well as the way interpretation shifts between works presented in a two-dimensional versus three-dimensional format. | en |
