| dc.description.abstract | In the late 1980s, at the beginning of a nationwide music festival craze, Eau Claire music promoter, Larry Barr, saw the opportunity to create a small music festival built on Rock and Roll culture. This music festival featured live music from original artists, a classic car show, and many high school reunions. These events were effective at evoking nostalgia among the festival attendees through bringing multiple communities of Rock and Roll era enthusiasts together to reminisce. Shake, Rattle, and Roll, was a smash hit and is still one of the Eau Claire’s favorite music festivals! Shake, Rattle, and Roll’s high energy entertainment captivated the audience and sparked the festival culture in Eau Claire. | en_US |
