dc.description.abstract	This study uses a controversial foreign policy issue named the Six-party talks on nuclear issues. There is little known of how western media have covered the North Korean issues and how they may interpret this controversial topic. The purpose of this study is to explore how media framing has been used in news stories as a means to channel each dominant ideology and national interests into the public and the society.	en
