Abstract

Organizations have the potential to gain significant benefits from promoting women to leadership positions. This study explores the stereotypes associated with women in leadership and understanding the current problem. This study also explores best practices that organizations utilize in order to recruit and attract women to leadership positions, develop their skills professionally and engage them in their work environment. Finally, this study summarizes the benefits for organizations that implement best practices for women in leadership.
