Abstract
The motivation for my work stems from my desire to create serenity and
beauty within the repetition, balance, rhythm, and attention to detail in my structures.
By mentally manipulating cellular form to challenge its destructive qualities and
defying the notion that germs, bacteria, and cells are completely negative, beauty
covers the surface of an initially plain, simple form. Beauty can exist in the darkest
and most destructive diseases; it just requires deep investigation to discover. However,
if one is willing to commit to uncovering beauty, the splendor is far greater than
the destruction.
