This presentation outlines a comprehensive Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan specifically designed for the production of peanut butter. Due to the high consumption and the inherent risks associated with peanut butter, such as contamination from pathogens like Salmonella and aflatoxins from molds, a robust food safety management system is critical. The plan covers all stages of production—from receiving raw peanuts to the final distribution of the product—identifying potential hazards, defining critical control points, and establishing monitoring procedures and corrective actions to mitigate risks. This HACCP plan is essential for ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of peanut butter, addressing both regulatory requirements and consumer expectations. The document serves as a vital tool for peanut butter manufacturers to manage food safety risks efficiently and effectively throughout the production process.
