One hundred-eighty items were constructed. The items were evaluated in two ways: by a panel of professional educators in elementary education and physical education, and by the use of an item analysis. The tests were evaluated by the Kuder-Richardson measure of reliability and by a summary table for analysis of written test as established by the "University Examination Service of the State University of Iowa."en
