FISHERY RESOURCES OF THE SUPERIOR-DULUTH ESTUARY

Abstract

This report is intended to present a comprehensive view of the fishery and water resources of the Superior-Duluth estuary. It is a summary of fishery investigations conducted by various agencies since 1973, including extensive sampling during this project. I have attempted to make it a worthwhile and interesting document for the scientist, the planner, and the public (including the angler). It cannot be the final document on the estuarine fishery resources, but it does greatly enlarge the data base for addressing critical manage­ment and development decisions and identifies problems needing increased attention in the future.
