There appear to be many reasons why students participate or fail to participate in such events. The purpose of this study was to explore the backgrounds, experience and attitudes of a sample of students at Wisconsin State University ? La Crosse to determine the kind of environment which tended to encourage them to participate in extra-curricular activities.en
