Abstract

Description

The study provides new grounds in helping explain why Lee Dreyfus' rhetoric was successful in one-on-one debates with his opponent. By examining the identification devices in his campaign and debate rhetoric, we are able to determine how well this political newcomer was able to proclaim unity.
