Abstract
Description
The study provides new grounds in helping explain
why Lee Dreyfus' rhetoric was successful in one-on-one debates
with his opponent. By examining the identification devices in
his campaign and debate rhetoric, we are able to determine how
well this political newcomer was able to proclaim unity.
