| dc.description.abstract | Accurate characterization of the near-surface soil water content is important for environmental and agricultural applications. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) groundwave techniques are a geophysical method that allows many measurements of soil water content to be acquired quickly over large areas, but some limitations on the accuracy of these techniques have been observed. This research seeks to improve the efficacy of GPR techniques for soil water content estimation by increasing measurement accuracy and better understanding the measurement sampling depth. | en |
