Updating the Open Source Database Benchmark Project

Abstract

The Open Source Database Benchmark (OSDB) project provides a free tool for analyzing the performance of database management systems (DBMS) on different computer hardware. OSDB simulates single connections (single-user) or multiple connections (multi-user) and reports the time that the database takes to complete a series of operations. Previous UWEC-Computer Science students have worked on the OSDB project, and our work expanded on their efforts.
