dc.description.abstractThis paper compares the savings adequacy of two groups of retirees, one of people who retired in 1980-81, the other of people retiring 20 years after that. The results suggest that single people and those with low education and skills and periods of unemployment are the most likely to not have enough savings for retirement.en_US
