Abstract
Troutperch (Percopsis omiscomaycus) are found in northern lakes ranging from northern Canada to the northern United States. They occur at depths from 0-55 fathoms, but are most commonly found at depths of less than 30 fathoms during the summer and fall. Spawning usually occurs in the tributary streams from May to august (Magnuson and Smith, 1963).
