dc.description.abstractMethicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an antibiotic-resistant strain of the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. Transmission of S. aureus/MRSA can occur through physical contact of colonized hospital personnel with patients.
