Thomas Higgins speaks about his childhood and early education in Virginia, his decision to pursue electrical engineering, his teaching positions at a number of universities, his decision to move to Madison, and his career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He talks about his position in the College of Engineering, how it has changed over the years, how he has been involved in the expansions and improvements. He mentions former students as well as deans and speaks about his work outside the university and his retirement.
