In any small-scale application of stereographical viewing technology, a significant challenge is faced: the greater the parallax between corresponding points on the images taken by the right and left camera, the greater the depth effect, but simultaneously the greater the chance that crosstalk and extreme ocular convergence angles will prevent the viewer from comfortably interpreting the pair of stereo images as a single, three-dimensional image. Our aim is to permit use of the HIT process on dynamic stereographical images by developing an algorithm which determines the user's likely point of focus and calculates the proper shift in the stereo images based on the depth of that object at that point in time.en
