In her 2009 interview with Emma Schroeder, Julie Schneider shares her memories of the Eagle Heights Community Garden. Schneider describes her five years in Eagle Heights as ?wonderful.? In the interview Schneider discusses the vegetables she grew, organic gardening, rules and restrictions, community events such as the harvest dinners, tensions with the university, international diversity, the ways in which the community gardens have changed since the early 1990s, and raising a young family in the Eagle Heights community.
This interview was conducted for inclusion in a Master?s thesis on the Eagle Heights Community Gardens.
