In his 2010 interview with Emma Schroeder, Joe Cooper shares his memories about living in Eagle Heights and participating in the Community Gardens for ten years. Cooper reflects on the differences and changes between the gardens in the 1980s and 2000s, highlighting the lack of money in the 1980s. Cooper discusses the variety of crops he planted, especially tomatoes, experimenting with different crops, and the use of pesticides. This interview was conducted for inclusion in a Master?s thesis on the Eagle Heights Community Gardens.
