Abstract

In Logan Gill’s interview, he discusses his childhood feelings and beliefs about the LGBTQ community. He then describes his involvement in the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Beloit College. Logan talks about Rocky Horror being a show that looks at stereotypes and puts them on display in a ridiculous exaggerated manner to send them up. The show gets positive feedback, but Logan mentions two instances where the administration was resistant, and an experience with one student who felt uncomfortable with the language used in the show. Logan describes the show as being a safe space for dealing with issues with gender and sexual orientation.
