dc.description.abstractThis study was made t o determine the reasons for the decline of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) volleyball program. A questionnaire was sent to one hundred thirty-six schools (still in existence) t h a t sponsored volleyball during its peak years, 1958-59 and 1959-60, and t o the thirty-eight schools t h a t participated i n the 1969 WIAA Valleyball Tournament. The questionnaire was returned by one hundred sixteen of the schools that sponsored volleyball during its peak years and by all thirty-eight of the 1969 volleyball schools.en
