Abstract

The 2020-2021 Academic Year was a year of change, flexibility, and innovation for the UW-Stout University Library, Archives, and Instructional Resources Service. On July 1, 2020, we began the academic year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with our building closed to the public, many staff working remotely, and uncertainty about what the upcoming school year would hold. However, staff were working behind the scenes to prepare the building for reopening safely, staffing a contactless pickup service for books, textbooks, and equipment, and offering virtual services for research help, archival requests, library instruction, and textbook assistance.
