Abstract

In today's education, there is an assumption that parents and teachers perceive similar ideas about positive family engagement. The researcher investigated current teacher perceptions in education by surveying local early childhood teachers. The participants of this study were all females who held similar Wisconsin teaching licenses. The survey was created using Survey Monkey and consisted of three questions. The participants were provided the link to the website via email and returned the survey to the researcher anonymously. The researcher organized the data to determine the current perceptions about family engagement among local teachers.
