Explorations in the Newly Developed Common Core

Abstract

Common Core State Standards are educational standards to ensure students develop skills and knowledge necessary for success. Forty-five state and the District of Columbia have adopted the Common Core State Standards. Wisconsin adopted the CCSS in 2010 with full implementation and assessment in the 2014-15 school year. The purpose of this study was to focus on ways of assessing progress in conjunction with the common core.
