Online, digitized version of the Wisconsin State College, River Falls yearbook for 1959. The 1959 Meletean includes 160 pages plus Sound Sketches of 1959 - a 45 vinyl record (10 minutes) that has been converted to both MP3 and WAV audio file formats.
Description
160 p. + 1 sound disc (45 rpm ; 7 in.) divided into 6 parts:
Part 1 = Cover and Pages 1-25;
Part 2 = Pages 26-53;
Part 3 = Pages 54-119;
Part 4 = Pages 120-160 and Back Cover;
Part 5 = MP3 audio file;
Part 6 = WAV audio file.
The 45 vinyl record includes: Rural Life Conference with Secretary Benson -- Homecoming, Crowning of Queen Mary Dougherty -- Espana Rhapsody, Concert Band -- Political Conference, Lucey-Jasper debate -- A Bit of Dixie, Jazz Concert -- Elizabeth the Queen, Carol Naiberg and Mike Dodge -- Winter Carnival Talent Show Winner -- Memories of 1959, Pres.
